About Snack Drawer

Snack Drawer was born from the pandemic of 2020, co-founded by two strangers, Jamie Searle and Hannah McElhinney, who met just once during Melbourne’s lockdowns on a sad sliver of beach where both their 5km radius’ overlapped.

Industry veterans with a deep expertise in social media, brand strategy, and cultural marketing, both Jamie and Hannah have led and executed high-impact brand campaigns, blending earned media, influencer marketing, and fandom-driven storytelling.

Jamie previously held senior roles at Thinkerbell, Brave Bison, and Universal Music, leading digital strategy and content innovation. A strategic thinker and industry innovator, Jamie is passionate about engagement strategies and the evolving role of social media in shaping culture and consumer behaviour.

Previously Senior Creative at VICE Media APAC, Hannah is a thought leader in the industry, as well as AiMCO Advisory Board Member, TEDx Speaker, and former Triple J radio presenter, producer, and DJ. Recognised in The Drum’s Global Top 50 Women Under 30 (2015), Hannah has consistently driven creativity at the intersection of brands and culture and provides creative leadership across all clients.

Now with a team of over 20, their leadership has positioned Snack Drawer as one of the fastest-rising creative agencies in Australia. Known for campaigns that cut through the noise and create Well Earned Attention, they’re less of a traditional agency set and more of a collection of multi-skilled Pokémon cards.
